Soon Hui, going bald is like telling those cancer patients that “we also go botak like how you look after chemotherapy and there’s nothing to be ashamed of and you’re not alone”. It’s like mentally comforting them and another reason is to create awareness in the community. People will have the chance to ask, Why go bald? Then you can explain the cancer society needs funding and pple will know and can donate ^_^.

Its a “Give hope- Go Bald” program to raise fund for the cancer society. For example, i participate in the program to help them to raise fund, they gave me a card for me to write down how many ppl donated and their amount. Then i will tell them ” If you guys donate total of 5000 (any amount that you wanted to archive), then i will shave my head!” So, some ppl wanna see me BALD then they will “pay” more lo. Like Kenny Sia, everyone that donates also wanna see him goes BOTAK, then he raised lots of money lo.
