To Change or Not to Change

Recently, i have been visiting car dealers and test driving some cars. I wanted to change my car. Currently i am driving a BMW 3 series that have been moded to M3 bodykits and engine had been tuned up as well. This is what i have done to my BMW.

So, i have been test driving these cars, Nissan 350Z, Mercedes C class, BMW 335i coupe and BMW Z4. Cant make my decision. Till now i still havent trade in my car for any of those yet. Main dilemma i have is my coming daughter. I afraid i have not enough money for her disposal. I afraid later not enough money for her new clothes, toys, milk and etc. So… i will only think of cars after few months to settle down with our new family member:)

*all of these cars are 2 doors coupe with 2 seats except the BMW 335i comes with 4 seats. But its sold to KL 2 days after i tested it. Overall, its SUPERBly COOL. Will see how next year.

My Perth Days

 

 

 

 

 

Perth- To many people, it might sound like a boring place. To me, its the best place i have been so far. I have been staying there for more than 6 years. Now i am back in Kuching but still miss the Perth Days. So i what i normally do in Perth- a place that others said boring?

College(2000)/Uni (2001-2005) time, i go college/Uni in the morning till afternoon. Then play basketball in the evening from 4pm till 6-7PM. In summer i will start playing from 6pm till 8 somethingPM due to the hot weather and longer DAY time. Winter, i will play from 3pm till 5pm..then its pretty dark by that time (shorter DAY time). Then Thursday evening i will go shopping. Most of the time i enjoy shopping alone. I always shop very quick. Walked into the shops that i usually go. EB- Electronic Boutique where sells all the video games and cool gadgets. Target- place like Parkson but cooler. Myer- Place like Parkson Pavilion KL. David Jones- Place like Parkson Starhill KL (if there is one). Harvey Norman is my favorite! Then Footlocker- 100 times better version of Lea Center, Footlocker sells ORIGINAL sport SHOES! Then i go to FITNESS first during weekdays i dont play basketball. I go watch movie at Hoyts-100000 times better than Stars. Dont you agree?? These are what i did during school days.

During late Uni days (2003-05) then i started to be active in Church. I sang, i danced and ACTED! I love those time. The greatest thing in Perth beside meeting my lovely wife is BBQ! I love BBQ at home, at park, at friends house. The weather is superb, the grass and roads are so clean that you can sleep anytime you want (check got dog poos first, but usually the owner of the dog will clean it. Thats how responsible they are.)

My first experience with DOTA was few months back. Yeah, DOTA has been around for ages, but i started to pick up when i started to use my office LAN. Then the nightmare began…. i cant stopped myself from playing it… addicted deeply till my wife was pissed off with me. Then i stopped and deleted all the DOTA games in my laptop and Imac. After few months of DOTA droughts then i started to play again when i found out i actually didnt delete my macbook pro’s DOTA. Again, nightmare continued… till tonight (23 September 2008) i announce that i cut myself off DOTA. NO more DOTA. I deleted my Imac DOTA then my macbook pro. For my wife, Chloe and myself. Wasting my time playing only (saying “relaxing” when playing is the worst excuse) I dont want my Chloe first pick up DOTA line than saying PA pa…i dont want her to say “our alliance base under attack” or “Vendashuci”… i want PA pa and Ma ma… So i decided to stop it. Here i would also like to tell my wife how much i love her and Ah B (Chloe). Daddy wont play DOTA again. Promise^_^

Pray for a friend of mine

Spencer needs prayer. He is in SGH ( Sarawak General Hospital). Fell sick and thinking was only normal fever but continually feeling unwell then admitted to Emergency wad. Being diagnosed as low palette( i think is how it spelled) Anyway, its something that decreasing in White blood cell. Doc though its Denggi, but result is negative. Now still remain mystery. Please PRAY for him. Ask God bring a great and wiser doc to help and heal him. If anyone got any doctor friends to recommend, please sms or msg me. Thanks.

It was fun and great catch up with bunch of old friends, too bad my wife Helen cant join us as she was too tired and needed more rest with little Chloe within her. MY BIG DAY. 8 September

Oh? You might be thinking that i have become a father liaw? Not so soon, but today is my birthday! Old liaw orh.

This year birthday will be celebrated together with more than 500 people. Wow? Hehe, tonight (8 september) i will be attending a friend’s wedding dinner. So indirectly, they are celebrating my birthday lo. Ha ha. but i had a usual dinner with friends at Sanga Japanese restaurant, then lunch at my cafe with my friends to “celebrate” birthday. Not that i want a huge cake (but Aunty Linda bought one for me), my mom made one of the best cheese cake in the world for me too. Too bad, i didnt take photos, too happy and finished the cake liaw. Forgotten the photos. Anyway, thanks my friends and mom! Oh yeah, my lao po give me a ball pen for my birthday, my very first present this year! The Parker pen is engraved with my name! Nice, thanks lao po! I will take photos of my presents next post!

Photography is one of the earlier hobby that i started to pick up during my secondary school time. I started of with a Minolta film SLR. I enjoy taking photos but left it aside for awhile but i have forgotten all the terms and skills of taking the pictures. Anyway, here are some of the photos i think might be “nice” for sharing. Hope you guys dont laugh at me. I just have to start from the beginning again.

DAMN the FRIDAY.

WADTHE! I HATE IT I HATE IT. Stressed stressed. Why friday has to go back to office late (after lunch)? WHY?? if you are local small company, i dont mind you had 2 hours lunch. BUT when you are in an International company LIKE UPS, DHL or even Fedex, you should NOT have any BREAK nor WEEKENDS. YOU WORK on shift. This week i had more than 3 shipments, by ship and by air. From HK, Vietnam, Italy and Sweden. ALL arrived here on time and even rush on Weekends. DHL no doubt is great. Fedex no question asked. UPS?? WHAT THE FK. They called me speaking broken english when i am outside (not in office), kept asking me to pay the duty. Asked them why is it so expensive? They said…this tax..that tax…then she asked me in return,” DID You get my fax? Everything is on the paper.” I told her i M OUTSIDE, i carry my fax on my back everywhere ah??? Then i said i get back office then confirm with her on the TAX amount. So i get back and saw the EXPENSIVE tax..gosh..averagely is 30-40% for items again. DAMN DAMN. I need to to rush the stocks in for the weekends since its in KL so maybe can rushed in by evening or tomorrow morning if i just pay the tax? So i called them, i called for 1 hour straight…. NO ONE answer the phone!!!! My staffs told me, friday lunch break is longer. WHY? Coz muslim need prayers. I DONT criticize the religion part, but why no other RELIGION group people answer the calls? My staffs said,” They might take this chance to have longer lunch.” SHOOT. Muslims pray, chinese EAT longer. UPS is an International Forwarder. NO SUPPOSE to have such long break!!! Because of that, my stocks DELAYED. Who will be responsible for the delayed launching???? MALAYSIA RULES is to be blamed. Why allow friday have long break. Oh yeah, UPS in KUCHING dont delivery on Saturday one oh. SHOOT.

Another Busy Tuesday

Actually i have heard that “NOT another Monday…” The most hectic day for most of us is Monday, but mine is TUESDAY. Morning site meeting, then check outlets, then meeting with architects, then back office, then lunch, then sometimes meeting, otherwise go to another office, then have meeting, then reply mails then meeting…..thats my TUESDAY. Today is not an exceptional. Today is even more hectic and frustrated too. I had calls from Fedex and DHL both giving me BAD news. Fedex said my phones are held up in KLIA, need custom clearance and get SIRIM Approve Permit (AP), need me to go and pay. Are they nuts? I fly there to pay SIRIM thing then wait for Fedex to send to me? Might as well send me back to KCH in the parcel together. Ended up i called up guys in KL to settle it with me…drink coffee or tea? I have no idea, i want the phones to be on my table ASAP. Then DHL called today, saying my stocks from MILAN,ITALY are held in MAS cargo for customs clearance as well. The plastic accessories for my phones (stocks) are worth more around RM12,000. Then they said i need to pay nearly RM5,000 for tax duty!! I said,” NO WAY!” How am i gonna sell the stuffs to customers?? 40% for TAX on PLASTIC?? WOW, WA LAO. Crazy, again i send someone to settle it. Hopefully they can get all things out without much HEADACHE. Malaysia… u BOLEH, I tak BOLEH. Cant pay them so much TAX, but the fact i dont get to see good road conditions in KCH. For you info, my car have changed 5 tires in 2 years. So how bad is the road condition? You imagine. Asking me to pay 40% tax for PLASTIC goods? HA, u dream of. Keep dreaming. S.T.U.P.i.D TAX system.
